The best way I can describe my job is as a content creator and manager. I've managed relationships with outside firms, revamped the request systems, updated the photo management system as well as coordinated photo shoots, and served as the campus photographer. I've served as the lead on social media channels and managed our digital signage across campus.

One of the biggest projects I've worked on was revamping our request and ticketing system. Upon hiring in I inherited what we call the "tracker." From a usability standpoint, it was extremely frustrating and dated. I conducted research and tested possible solutions. After careful consideration and meeting with our users to see what their needs were, I settled on upgrading our system to Smartsheets, this allowed for us to manage our multitracker system using automation and workflows. It greatly improved our day-to-day workflow and ability to create reports. We have since implemented its use in a variety of other forms.

Another aspect of my job has been to analyze our social media accounts and make recommendations based on the data available. Part of the goal is to look for growth opportunities and to make sure we're targeting our messaging properly on each channel.
